May 2010, this is the month that marks three years of Mauricio Santana, better known as Tux, as a photographer.

He is self-taught and shared his passion for photography with a job that could pay his bills. Today, as a professional photographer, he uses all his time available studying, researching and increasing his portfolio shooting bands either for promotional or on stage pics.

Something that began as a challenge, today it is part of a enviable and recognized job by many of the artists who use his photos in their official websites, MySpace pages and countless flyers.

In a world in which they say nothing else can be invented, he is managing, with great personality, to print his ideas and is already identified by his unique point of view with the camera.

He is not only a band photographer, but an artist of feelings and emotions.

Começou autodidata, dividindo-se entre a paixão pela fotografia e um trabalho que pagava suas contas. Hoje, profissional, utiliza todo o tempo possível para estudar, pesquisar e aumentar seu portfólio clicando bandas, seja em fotos promo ou on stage.

Algo que começou como um desafio, hoje é parte de um trabalho invejável e reconhecido por muitos dos artistas que utilizam as fotos em seus sites oficiais, páginas do Myspace e inúmeros flyers.

Em um mundo em que se diz que nada mais se inventa, com muita personalidade, ele está conseguindo imprimir sua idéia e já é identificado por seu olhar tão particular.

Mauricio não só um fotógrafo de bandas, mas um artista de sentimentos, emoções e feeling.
